Signing Your Completed Cyber Essentials Questionnaires
Once you have clicked the Submit button at the end of answering your Cyber Essentials questionnaire, the document will begin generating. The OneClickComply platform will combine your answers with the technical controls that you have implemented through the platform, creating a document that accurately reflects the processes that you currently have in place.
You can access your in-progress and completed documents within Questionnaires area of the Cyber Essentials Questionnaire page. See below for an example:

Once on the Questionnaires page, you will find a list of all your answered questionnaires. These documents will have one of two different statuses, either Document Generated or Generating. From here, you can press the View button on your desired document to open a new window.
Alongside the View option, there will also be a button labelled Approve & Sign. This button allows you to mark this questionnaire as complete, acknowledge that the information within it is accurate, and that you have the authority to sign the document on behalf of the business. There will also be an area for you to sign the document in either print or drawn format.
Once done, a new button will appear called Create document v2. This will generate a downloadable .xls spreadsheet that contains all of your answers, plus those added by the platform, as well as your signature and a completion timestamp. This spreadsheet can then be submitted to your assessor of choice.
Note: It's important to remember that the Cyber Essentials Questionnaire is a vital document in the certification process, as it should accurately reflect the internal security process implemented by your business. While the base certification of Cyber Essentials doesn't verify the implementation of these measures, the Plus certification requires that the answers in your questionnaire matches the steps taken by your business to meet the requirements of the standard. Please take some time to validate the answers provided in the document against your currently implemented security measures, otherwise you may risk failing your certification.
