Google Cloud Platform Integration Guide
This guide has been created to help you connect your Google Cloud Platform account to the OneClickComply platform.
Note: You must have fully completed the steps outlined in the Obtaining the credentials for integration guide before reading this article, otherwise you will be unable to connect the two platforms. If you are experiencing any difficulties in following the steps outlined in the above article, please reach out to a member of our support team.
Integrating your Google Cloud environment to OneClickComply
Please follow the steps outlined below to connect your Google Cloud environment to the OneClickComply platform.
- Ensure you have made a secure copy of your client_id, client_secret, quota_project_id, and refresh_token.
- Now you have this secure copy, you should now access the OneClickComply platform.
- Navigate to the Integrations in the navigation bar
- Click the Add button on the Google Cloud Platform integration.
- Once on this new screen, select Add Connection to begin connecting your Google Cloud environment to the platform
- From here, follow the set-up guide within the platform which will explain how to connect your Google Cloud environment to the platform
Note: You will need to copy the credentials you obtained prior into the platform in order to establish the connection.
- Once all these steps are completed, the OneClickComply platform will have successfully paired with Google Cloud and will begin scanning for gaps and misconfigurations in-line with the standards that you have access to as part of your subscription package.
- Navigate to the Standards area, located within the Compliance tab.
- Select Edit Status on the standards that your business wishes to work towards, and set the status as Active.
- This will cause outstanding controls to begin populating the Controls Management area.
