Creating Documents and Generating Document Contents

This guide walks you through creating a new documents for your organisation using templates provided within the OneClickComply platform.

To create a new document using a template, select the Documents option from the main navigation bar.

On this new page, the Template Library is categorised into different sections, such as Security, Data and Governance.

The Template Library gives you an overview of each available document template. At a glance, you can see:

  • The document title, category, and a brief description of the document’s scope

  • Alignment: Which framework or standard the document is aligned to.

  • Depth: How many sections and/or pages that specific document contains.

Once you have identified the document you wish to create, hover over the template and select the Generate button.

This will open a pop-up modal where you can provide context about your organisation, and adjust the scope of the document. The in-platform AI then uses this information to build a custom document based on this information.

The first section, Business Context, asks for the following information:

  • Company Name

  • Industry

  • Organisation Size

  • Policy/Document Owner

  • Data Types Handled (e.g., PII, Financial data, etc.)

Once completed, click Next.

In the second section, Document Scope, you can fine-tune the technical and stylistic elements of the document, including:

  • Framework Selection: Choose the specific framework you are working towards.

  • Section Control: Use the check boxes to toggle specific policy sections on or off based on your needs.

  • Tone & Style: Select the desired writing tone (e.g., Formal, Direct)

  • Additional Instructions: Use the optional text box to add any specific requirements or internal rules you would like the AI to include when creating the document.

After confirming your scope, click Next.

The final step you to review the information you have provided.

Once you have confirmed that the Business Context and Document Scope are correct, click Generate Document. The platform will then produce a tailored document based on the information provided.

Once the document is generated, it can be located inside of the My Documents area.
